Remember to find out in good time about the language requirements for studying at the university of your choice, so that you have enough time to take any tests or attend language courses. At the TH Lübeck, language courses are offered by the Study Center. The courses offered are English, German as a foreign language, Spanish, Chinese and others. In some cases, you can take the subjects as elective modules as part of your degree program and receive credit points after successfully passing the exam.

Within the framework of the project Einstiege ins Studium, a cooperation between TH Lübeck and the University of Lübeck, TH students and employees can participate in free language courses. These courses are supplementary offers, i.e. no credit points can be awarded.

In English-speaking countries, the TOEFL test or the IELTS test is normally required for the application. You can take a preparation course for the TOEFL test at the study center.
