Accomodation
Dormitories are the least expensive form of housing outside the parental home. They are mostly run by the Studentenwerk Schleswig-Holstein, but there are also privately run dormitories.

Detailed information on the individual dormitories in Lübeck can be found on the website of the Studentenwerk Schleswig-Holstein. For a place in a dormitory, you must submit an application for admission to the Studentenwerk.

Handicapped accessible housing
The student dormitory in Anschützstraße has one room that is handicapped accessible.

Food
A full belly does not like to study...
... but before the empty stomach drowns out the professor: There is a wide range of food options on and around campus. We present some of them here.
- Refectory

The refectory is located on the campus of the University of Lübeck next to the library and Audimax. It is operated by the Studentenwerk Schleswig-Holstein. The cafeteria's menu offers three to four dishes daily. At least one dish is vegetarian.
Payment in the cafeteria is made by chip card, which is available in the office wing for a deposit. The chip card is upgraded at vending machines in the foyer.

AStA-Cafete
The shortest way to get something to eat is to the AStA-Cafete in building 25, where organic baked goods (cakes and sandwiches), hot drinks and sweets are offered at very reasonable prices - an ideal meeting place between lectures.
Cafeteria des Studentenwerks
The cafeteria of the Studentenwerk is located in the Mensa building, next to the library and Audimax. It offers snacks ranging from currywurst to pastries, as well as hot and cold drinks.
Payment is usually made using a Studentenwerk chip card. In contrast to the Mensa, cash payment is also possible in the cafeteria.
Campus-Suite
The campus suite offers coffee specialties, small hot dishes and snacks for small and large appetites. The interior is reminiscent of a beach bar.
It is located in MFC1 at Maria-Goeppert-Strasse 1, right next to Carlebach Park.
- Restaurants
Zeus
A little further from campus, beyond Carlebach Park, is the Zeus Greek restaurant. Zeus offers a buffet lunch. Alternatively, you can order from the menu.
Zeus is located in the Medical Health Center (MGZ) building at Paul-Ehrlich-Strasse 1-3.
Hong Van
If you prefer Asian food, you're sure to find something at Hong Van in Mönkhof Karree, Alexander-Fleming-Strasse 1. Noodle and rice dishes satisfy students' hunger.
- Cafés and Bakeries
Stadtbäckerei Junge
Stadtbäckerei Junge is represented many times in the cityscape of Lübeck. There are three branches in the immediate vicinity of the University of Applied Sciences campus alone:
- in the building of the Medical Health Center (MGZ), Paul-Ehrlich-Straße 1
- on the grounds of the Schleswig-Holstein University Hospital (UKSH, Pavilion in the center of the hospital grounds, Branch in the central clinic
von Allwörden
There is a Von Allwörden branch in the Mönkhof Karree at Alexander-Fleming-Strasse 1. Small hot meals are also served here at lunchtime.
